Jaima Smith-An exercise in observation
The study and observation of primates has been and will continue to be a fascinating scientific endeavor. They are our closest living relatives and so similar to us in many ways. By observing them in their natural environment, or in captivity, we can gain new knowledge about their social behavior and life history, as well as insight into our own evolutionary origins and social behavior. This exercise in observation will provide you with the basic knowledge of how to conduct behavioral observations, and learn the important skills necessary to do so.
